Policy Tailwinds Propel Explosive Growth in the Heat Pump Industry
Recently, the National Development and Reform Commission and the National Energy Administration jointly released the Three-Year Action Plan for Promoting Clean Energy Heating. The plan clearly states that by 2026, the national coverage rate of heat pump heating will be raised to 30%, with purchase subsidies for heat pump equipment reaching up to 25% of the product price.
Driven by these policy incentives, domestic heat pump market orders have surged by over 40% month-on-month, with leading companies’ order books now stretching three months ahead. The overseas market is also performing strongly. As the EU’s winter energy crisis continues, Chinese heat pumps have captured an 18% year-on-year increase in export share, thanks to their reliable quality and competitive pricing, becoming another hallmark of "Made in China" going global.
